Ron Funches (Full Name: Ronald Kyle Funches) is a popular American comedian and actor who started his comedy career in Portland, Oregon, at age 23. He spent his early life in Chicago prior to shifting to Salem, Oregon, as a teenager. Following relocating to Los Angeles in 2012, Ron started starring as a guest on many comedy series, such as @midnight, Mulaney, and Kroll Show.
From 2014 until 2016, he appeared as a regular on the NBC series Undateable, and in 2015, started performing as a voice actor on series such as BoJack Horseman, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, and Adventure Time. Ron later performed the voice role of Cooper in the animated film Trolls (2016).
In addition, he had guest-starring roles on several television series such as Transparent (2016), Black-ish (2017), and replayed the role of Cooper in the Trolls spin-off series Trolls: The Beat Goes On! (2018). In 2020, he again replayed the role of Cooper in the sequel movie Trolls World Tour. Early in 2020, he voiced Ron on the Netflix series Hoops. In 2021, Ron started voicing Kevin in the FX series Poorly Drawn Lines.
