Robert Klein is a veteran American television personality, singer, comedian, and also actor on both stages and on screen. As a comedian, Robert has released four standup comedy specials and the first two were nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.
He is recognized for his roles in films such as The Owl and the Pussycat (1970), Mixed Nuts (1994), One Fine Day (1996), and Two Weeks Notice (2002) among others. Robert also featured on popular television shows including Law & Order: SVU (2009-2012), The Good Wife (2013-2014), Madam Secretary (2014), and Will & Grace (2018-2019).
Due to his outstanding work, he was awarded the 1998 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play. Robert has been nominated for various awards including the 1976 and 1975 Grammy Awards for best comedy album, the 1979 Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical, and also the 1998 Drama Desk Award for outstanding featured actor in a play.
