Rami Malek is a popular American actor known for playing computer hacker Elliot Alderson in the USA Network television series Mr. Robot from 2015 to 2019, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
He is also known for playing Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), for which he also received the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, plus a British Academy Film Award for Best Actor. Rami has won numerous other accolades and is the first actor of Egyptian heritage to receive the Academy Award for Best Actor.
