Preston Sprinkle is an American biblical scholar, podcast host, speaker, and a New York Times bestselling author. He is the co-founder and president of The Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender. Preston holds a Ph.D. in New Testament from Aberdeen University in Scotland which he earned in 2007. He has taught theology at Nottingham University (U.K.), Cedarville University (OH), and Eternity Bible College (CA).

In March 2021, Mark Walker, the president of Lee University, a Christian institution in Tennessee, used a chapel service to reaffirm the Christian institution’s disapproval of same-sex relationships. Later, a group of alumni at the Univesity organized a petition drive to protest recent statements by the University President reaffirming the university’s long-held stance holding that same-sex sexual relationship are prohibited by Scripture.
The alumni argue in an open letter signed by almost 750 people that Mark comments during a March 11 chapel service. Mark’s comments came after the university hosted Preston. However, the University officials declined to make Mark’s video available which the university took down from its website. Preston left Eternity Bible College (EBC) in 2021. He had joined Boise in May 2014 to plant an extension campus for EBC. It was a joyful adventure and he saw God work in many ways, especially the extension site that allowed him to get to know so many awesome pastors and leaders in the Boise area.
