Pia Toscano is an American singer who placed ninth on the tenth season of American Idol. She released the EP Belong in 2016. At her middle school, P.S./M.S. 207, Pia was the official The Star-Spangled Banner singer. She performed at every event such as graduation, wedding, and birthday parties among other events. She performed on both “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” for the Mets’ minor league team, the Brooklyn Cyclones, several times a year for three years.
Additionally, she won the New York Met’s annual “Anthem Search” competition in 2008. Later, Pia was selected to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at a July 2008 game.
