Neville was appointed as the head coach of Inter Miami on January 18, 2021. He then made his debut on April 18, 2021, as the team lost 3–2 at home to LA Galaxy in their season opener. Neville had his debut in a UEFA Champions League qualifier against Villarreal. He then had his Premier League debut for the Toffees, against Manchester United.
