Michelle Wu is a popular American politician who has been the mayor of Boston, Massachusetts, since 2021. Besides, Michelle was the first Asian American woman to serve on the Boston City Council. Michelle was first elected to the council in 2013 and worked from 2014 to 2021, including a stint as council president from 2016 until 2018. She is considered a political progressive and a protégée of Elizabeth Warren. Elizabeth was one of Michelle’s professors in law school and she worked on Elizabeth’s 2012 United States Senate campaign.
