Michelle Wu is a popular American politician who has been the mayor of Boston, Massachusetts, since 2021. Besides, Michelle was the first Asian American woman to serve on the Boston City Council. Michelle was first elected to the council in 2013 and worked from 2014 to 2021, including a stint as council president from 2016 until 2018. She was elected mayor in 2021, winning 64% of the vote, becoming the first woman, the first person of color, as well as the first Asian American elected to work as the mayor of Boston.
