Michael Gerson ( full name Michael John Gerson) is an American op-ed columnist. He currently works for The Washington Post. Michael is a Policy Fellow with One Campaign. He is also a visiting fellow with the Center for Public Justice. Before that, he worked as a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
He as well worked as a chief speechwriter from 2001 to June 2006 for the former USA President George W. Bush. From 2000 to June 2006, Michael was a senior policy advisor as well as a member of the White House Iraq Group. Michael contributed in writing the inaugural address for the second inauguration of former USA President George W. Bush.
The inauguration called for neo-conservative intervention as well as nation-building all over the world to affect the spread of democracy to third-world countries.
