Martin Brudnizki is a Swedish-born interior architect and product designer. He is currently based in both London and New York. The Stockholm native moved to London in 1990 to study Interior Architecture and Design at the American University of London.

The two share a two-bedroom flat which is on the top floor of a Victorian mansion block in west London which Martin says is like a sanctuary. ‘You feel very removed from everything when you are this high up, and it’s so nice to have windows at the front and back. The flat is hardly huge – about 80 square meters, particularly when compared with the vast spaces that Martin designed in his professional life.

He launched And Objects in 2015 in Chelsea Reach, 79-89 Lots Road, London, SW10 0RN. This is a dedicated design studio from where Martin will create his own range of products. The designer co-founded the studio with his long-term friend Nicholas Jeanes. And Objects collaborates with design partners on bespoke collections, such as recently with Drummonds, George Smith, The Urban Electric Co., Porta Romana, and Christopher Farr Cloth.
During Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2017, the studio took part in the Wallpaper* Handmade event. It designed a candlestick inspired by natural rock formations found at Giant’s Causeway in Ireland. Also, it developed an in-house range of products exclusive to the studio under the ‘Other Objects’ banner. These include those pieces that MBDS has previously designed for its interior projects such as the new Annabel’s private members’ club at 46 Berkeley Square.
