Maddie Kirker is an American journalist working for 10TV WBNS in Columbus, Ohio as a morning and noon meteorologist for Good Morning CBUS. She joined the station’s news team called Doppler 10 Weather Team in November 2022.
Before that, Maddie worked for WTKR News 3 in Norfolk, Virginia as a weekday meteorologist. She joined the station’s First Warning Weather Team in April 2019 and also provided weather forecasts at Noon and 4 p.m. Previously, Maddie worked at FOX 21 News in Colorado Springs where she spent three years serving as the weekend morning meteorologist. Prior to that, she worked at ABC15 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a morning meteorologist.
In March 2023, Maddie underwent a biopsy surgery, three X-rays, and one MRI. In addition, she had a giant cell tumor removed from her wrist which had recurred from a previous surgery she underwent 5 years ago. The giant cell was a non-cancerous tumor but aggressive enough to damage the bone. Maddie has been updating her fans via Instagram and is recuperating as of April 2023.
