She first joined the workforce as a computer programmer for IBM prior to finally working her way up through positions with the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange as well as the Intercontinental Exchange. In December 2021, Lynn’s appointment as president of the NYSE was reported and she formally started her work on January 3, 2022.
