Lucy was honored for her work covering the explosion of the Philadelphia Energy Solutions plant in South Philly in June 2019. She won several Associated Press awards for best anchor. In addition, Lucy received three regional Edward R. Murrow awards in 2011 for writing a documentary explaining the Affordable Care Act in Virginia.
