Lou Manfredini is a popular American television/radio personality and home improvement scholar. Currently, Lou hosts the “HouseSmarts Radio” call-in show heard Saturday mornings, from 6 to 10 a.m. on WGN Radio 720 AM. Lou is also the host of HouseSmarts TV the national home improvement program which airs in Chicago on WGN-TV. He is also a frequent contributor to NBC’s Today Show. He also works as Ace Hardware’s Home Expert.

Lou was inducted into the WGN Radio Walk of Fame on May 29, 2015. On January 14, 2017, Lou began the live show, HouseSmarts Radio, on 77-WABC New York. He also started the live show, HouseSmarts Radio, on 790-KABC Los Angeles on October 14, 2017. Previously, Lou worked alongside host Roy Leonard on his Saturday show as a regular contributor which later resulted in his own Saturday morning call-in radio show which also airs today.  In 2000, Lou became the home improvement contributor for NBC-TV’s Today Show, from 2006 until 2013 for NBC-5 Chicago.
