Lindsay’s award-winning storytelling was honored in 2009 by the Kansas City Press Club, receiving the Gold Award with the story of the possible arson of a small Kansas town’s century-old church. In her elementary school, Manor Hill Elementary in Liberty honored her in the fall of 2011 as an outstanding Alumni.

She started her career reporting at NPR affiliates across Missouri from the state Capitol. In addition, Lindsay also spent a period of two years during college reporting and anchoring at KOMU.
Her career has sent her across the nation and worldwide. Lindsay traveled to Afghanistan in 2014, where she embedded with Missouri National Guard soldiers to provide the story of the end of America’s longest war.
While at home, she has traveled to provide everything from F-5 tornadoes and hurricanes to high-profile court cases and March Madness. Lindsay did a great KU Championship on the road and she is a die-hard Mizzou Tigers, Royals, and Chiefs fan.
She came to KSHB from WIBW. To be a reporter has been her dream since childhood. Lindsay got her first taste of television news while growing up in Liberty schools. She also likes exploring hidden gems in her hometown and has never met a coupon she doesn’t like! Lindsay likes trying to learn new languages.
