Kyle Chandler is an American actor. He made his screen acting debut in a 1988 television film, Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story. Kyle’s first regular television role was in the ABC drama Homefront from 1991 to 1993.
This was followed by the lead role of Gary Hobson in the CBS series Early Edition, for which he won a Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television. Kyle’s other television roles include the sitcom What About Joan? and the legal drama The Lyon’s Den, both short-lived, and a well-received guest appearance on the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.

In 2021, Kyle starred in the crime miniseries Mayor of Kingstown, an American crime thriller television series created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. The series premiered on November 14, 2021, on Paramount+. In February 2022, the series was renewed for a second season which is set to premiere on January 15, 2023.
