Ken Langone (Full Name: Kenneth Gerard Langone Sr ) is a popular American billionaire businessman, investor, and philanthropist, who is the co-founder of The Home Depot alongside Arthur Blank and Bernard Marcus. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Invemed Associates LLC. Ken is also the author of the recently released book, “I Love Capitalism! An American Story.

Previously, Ken worked as chairman of the New York Stock Exchange’s Compensation Committee from 1999 until 2003. In the early 1960s, Ken started his career at a Wall Street financial services company named R.W. Pressprich, where he assisted develop new businesses. In 1968 Ken met and persuaded Ross Perot to let Pressprich handle Electronic Data Systems’s IPO. In 1969, he would be named Pressprich’s president.
