Katie Beasley is a former American News anchor. She most recently worked as an anchor at Channel 5/ Fox 5 News based in Atlanta. Her last day at Fox 5 was on June 5, 2021. In her farewell message, Katie said “You welcomed me into your homes from day one, and I can never say thank you enough for the love, kindness, and support you have shown me and my family over the years.”
Katie assured her fans that she would always be an Atalanta. She said “My family isn’t going anywhere. Atlanta is home and always will be. So hopefully we can stay connected on social media, as I navigate this new chapter in my life.” When she was in the fifth grade, Katie was co-anchor for her elementary school’s news. She also served reporter and a photojournalist. Katie was part of the winning team of the News 12 high school football show.
