Kate Scott is an American journalist and sportscaster. Currently, she serves as the play-by-play announcer for the Philadelphia 76ers where she joined in September 2021. Previously, Kate served as a FOX Sports play-by-play announcer for the network’s CONMEBOL Copa America and CONCACAF Gold Cup coverage.
She is The first woman to call an NFL game on the radio, and the first to call a Golden State Warriors game. Moreover, she is the first to call football for the Pac-12 Networks and the play-by-play announcer for the first all-female NHL broadcast in the United States. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kate went back to her radio roots in 2020.
