Josh Dun ( Full Name: Joshua William Dun) is a popular American musician who is well known as the drummer of the musical duo Twenty One Pilots, alongside Tyler Joseph, but he has collaborated with other artists as well. Josh’s band has been nominated for six Grammy Awards, of which he has won one.

In March 2010, Josh joined House of Heroes after the band’s drummer, Colin Rigsby, took a break to spend more time with his family. Josh makes an appearance in the music video for the band’s single “God Save the Foolish Kings.” Josh performed on House of Heroes’ live tour until October when Rigsby returned to his duties.

Following quitting his job at Guitar Center, Josh planned to leave for Nashville, Tennessee in pursuit of a drum career in the industry; however, he was stopped by Twenty One Pilots drummer Chris Salih, who offered him his role. Josh went on to play a show with Tyler Joseph after Salih and bassist Nick Thomas left the group due to other commitments.

In July 2011, the band released a second self-published album, Regional at Best, which saw the band gain traction with the music community and garner the interest of record labels. On May 17, 2015, the fourth album, Blurryface, was released and saw the band receive international success, with the album charting highly in many countries, and becoming a No. 1 album in the US. In July 2017, Twenty One Pilots went on hiatus for a year whilst they worked on their next album, Trench. On July 11, 2018, the two released two new songs, “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners”. Besides, Josh toured with the band on The Bandito Tour, starting in October 2018 and finishing in June 2019.
