John Frederick Dickerson is an American journalist and a reporter at CBS News. Currently, John is on 60 Minutes and CBS News’ Election specials. He is CBS News chief political analyst, senior national correspondent, and a contributor to “CBS Sunday Morning.” John reports for all CBS News platforms and programs, such as “CBS This Morning,” “CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell” and “Face The Nation.”

He also serves as an anchor of CBS News Election Coverage and political Special Reports. In addition, he is also working on a program for Paramount +. Before, John was co-host of CBS This Morning along with Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King. He worked as an interim anchor of the CBS Evening News until Norah O’Donnell took over in the summer of 2019.
