He is best known for his roles such as Bob Slydell in Office Space, Sergeant Red O’Neill in Oliver Stone’s Platoon, FBI agent Ben Harp in Point Break, Perry Cox in Scrubs, Captain Hendrix in The Rock, Marv in Stone’s Wall Street, and the serial killer Edgler Foreman Vess in the TV miniseries of Intensity, based on the novel by Dean Koontz.
John has written and produced television and film. In addition to acting, he is an author, a board member, and an international spokesman for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. John serves as a spokesman for the National Down Syndrome Society.
