John Anderson is an American sports commentator. He currently serves as the host of the ESPN TV program Sports Center since June 1999. John mostly appears on the 11 pm-1 am edition together with John Buccigross and Kenny Mayne. He also co-hosted the TV series called “Wipeout”.In 2003, he wrote a book with golfer Chi Chi Rodriquez, which they called Chi Chi’s Golf Games You Gotta Play.
The book teaches players how to play better golf as well as have fun while playing. In late 2009, John and his wife started the Anderson Family Charitable Foundation. The aim of the organization was to help supply underprivileged youth with backpacks, school supplies, and food.
