Jim Gianopulos ( Full Name: James N. Gianopulos) is a popular American businessman who worked as chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures until his departure in September 2021. He works as the chairman of the board of directors of the Motion Picture & Television Fund. Jim is also on the board of the X Prize Foundation and the board of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where he is also an adjunct professor. He also serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, where he also serves as its treasurer.
Before joining Paramount, Jim worked as Chairman and CEO of Twentieth Century Fox, one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of motion pictures. Prior to joining Twentieth Century Fox, Jim held senior management positions at Paramount and Columbia Pictures after his career as an attorney specializing in entertainment.
