Jerry Saltz is an American art critic presently working as the senior columnist for New York magazine since joining in 2006. Previously, he worked at the Village Voice where he served as the senior art critic for a couple of years. In 2018, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism.
Furthermore, he was nominated for an award in both 2001 and 2006. Due to his remarkable job, Jerry served as a visiting critic for several institutions including The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia University, Yale University, and the School of Visual Arts.
