Jeff Vahle ( Full Name: Jeffrey Norman Vahle) is a popular American executive who works as President of Walt Disney World Resort at The Walt Disney Company. He succeeded Josh D’Amaro. Prior to joining Disney, he was a plant engineer at Eastman Chemicals in Columbia, SC. Jeff joined Disney at Walt Disney World in 1990 as a Senior Engineer at Magic Kingdom. Following a series of roles Jeff became named Vice President, Global Maintenance, in 1998.
Jeff was afterward promoted to Executive Vice President of Facilities and Operations Services for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide prior to being named President of Disney Cruise Line in 2018 and later to President of Walt Disney World Resort in May 2020. Following Bob Iger stepping down as CEO on February 25, 2020, Bob Chapek was reported as his successor. This led to a leadership shuffle and in May 2020 Josh D’Amaro was promoted to Chairman, and Jeff joined the newly vacant role as President of Walt Disney World Resort.
