He rose to fame when his firm made $200 million in 2021, with the bulk of gains coming from debt and equity options for AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. as well as out-of-the-money options for GameStop. By June 2022, his investment firm managed $3.3 billion in assets. He began his profession as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch & Co.
In 2001, Jason joined Contrarian Capital Management, where he worked as a managing director and portfolio manager for a period of seven years.
