Jason Khalipa is an American retired professional CrossFit Games athlete. He currently serves as the host of the EOE: Effort Over Everything podcast. Jason is best known for his accomplishments as the 2008 CrossFit Games champion. Jason won the Spirit of the Games award at the 2009 CrossFit Games.
He was also selected to take part at the CrossFit Invitational as a member of Team USA in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Jason is the founder of NCFit headquartered in Campbell, California where he now serves as the CEO. His first gym was CrossFit Santa Clara, which opened nearly a month after winning his first CrossFit Games in 2008. His recognition grew in the CrossFit world and wrote As Many Reps As Possible about his career.
Jason became even more interested and more dedicated to learning more about health and fitness as a competitor and a coach. In 2011, he renamed CrossFit Santa Clara to NorCal CrossFit. In 2017, the name of the gym changed to NCFit. Jason announced NCFits disaffiliation from the CrossFit brand in June 2020 after Greg Glassman, then- CEO had a controversial post on Twitter in 2020.

He trained three times a day for a competition. Jason’s morning workouts mostly consist of aerobic training: bike, row, or run. He also engaged in CrossFit in the afternoons. Also, he reserved the evenings for stamina building in complex skills that include Olympic lifts, muscle-ups, or handstands. When Jason is not training to compete in CrossFit events, he always maintains a regular training schedule that consists of daily classes at NCFit and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu two to three days a week so as to maintain conditioning.
