James Delingpole ( Full name: James Mark Court Delingpole ) is an English journalist, writer, and columnist. He has written for a number of publications, including The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Daily Express, Daily Mail, and The Spectator. Formerly, James served as the executive editor for Breitbart London.
He has published several novels and four political books. James describes himself as a libertarian conservative. The writer has published articles rejecting the scientific consensus on climate change. He has also expressed opposition to wind power.

He wrote “I am not a scientist and have never claimed to be,” and that he does not have a science degree. However, he is “a believer in empiricism and not spending taxpayers’ money on a problem that may well not exist.”
In a documentary titled “Science Under Attack” for BBC Horizon, James responded to Paul Nurse’s discussion of the scientific consensus on global warming. The writer stated that the idea of a consensus is unscientific. In response to Nurse’s question as to whether he had read any peer-reviewed papers, James said that as a journalist “it is not my job” to read peer-reviewed papers, but he is “an interpreter of interpretations.”
