Jad Abumrad is an American journalist. He serves as a Fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities. Previously, he served as a Host and Producer at WNYC Radio in Brooklyn, New York. Jad was the producer of Radiolab, a nationally broadcast public radio show and also a podcast that originates from WNYC in New York. He co-hosted Radiolab with Robert Krulwich for almost 17 years. In addition, he was honored as a 2011 MacArthur Fellow.

In addition, he retired from Radiolab, handing over the reins to producers Lulu Miller and also Latif Nasser in January 2022. Currently, he is a Fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities.
