Originally, Impulse charged a one-time fee of a season’s pass for all services in the building. However, he eventually changed it so anyone could purchase books, but only pass-holders could trade in the bottom-level facility.

In Hermitcraft season 8, Impulse allied with Grian, GoodTimesWithScar, PearlescentMoon, and Mumbo Jumbo by placing his boat on the Boatem Pole. He created a factory as his Megabase, and eventually merged it into a gigabase along with Grian, Scar, Pearl, and Mumbo.
In season 9, the theme for his mega-base this season is a massive underground dwarven city, which he built directly underneath the elven palace belonging to GeminiTay and across the river from PearlescentMoon. Impulse built a lighting/beacon shop called iLuminate, as well as a shulker shell shop.
