Hugh Laurie is a CBE English actor, comedian, writer, and musician. He is known for his work as one-half of the comedy double act Fry and Laurie with Stephen Fry. He has also appeared in two series of the period comedy Blackadder alongside Rowan Atkinson. Laurie has had a starring role in Fox medical drama series House. For his role in the film, he received two Golden Globe Awards and many other accolades.
