Greg Jenner is a British author, public historian, and adviser to Film & TV. He has a particular interest in communicating history through pop culture and humor. Greg hosts the chart-topping BBC podcast You’re Dead To Me, he also works on the multi-award-winning BBC comedy TV show Horrible Histories.
In addition, he is the author of Ask A Historian, Dead Famous: An Unexpected History of Celebrity, and A Million Years In A Day: A Curious History of Everyday Life. In 2018 Greg was made an Honorary Research Associate at Royal Holloway, University of London. He also does some occasional teaching at the University of York. He studied a History & Archaeology BA and Medieval Studies MA at The University of York. After college, Greg abandoned his dreams of a Ph.D. in Medieval Literature and instead dedicated his career to wrestling with issues of accuracy in historical entertainment.
