Grace Chapin is an American anchor and reporter. She currently work for KCTV5 as their weekday Traffic Anchor and Lifestyle Show Reporter. Grace joined the network in November 2021. Before that, she worked for KHQ-TV ( NBC Affiliate) based in Spokane, Washington. There, Grace served as a weather Forecaster and also as a Traffic Reporter.
She became part of the KHQ weather team in January of 2018 as a reporter for the Wake Up Show. As a Kansas native, Grace completed her Bachelor of Arts in Video Production and also earned her Masters in Sports Administration both from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. While in Belmont, Grace served as a graduate assistant and she traveled with the Men’s Basketball team while shooting their highlights.
Additionally, she interned for the Boston Celtics, WKRN-TV in the Sports Department, “Headline Country” the TV show, and Nashville Predators. At times when Grace is not busy at the office or in the field chasing storms and tornadoes, you can find her at the movie theater, watching basketball, or even exploring one of Spokane’s wineries!

The Belmont University graduate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production and a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. The journalist interned for the GAC show “Headline Country”, WKRN, the Nashville Predators, and the Boston Celtics while attending school in Nashville. Grace served as a graduate assistant for the Belmont men’s basketball team during graduate school. She as well served as the sideline reporter for the women’s basketball team.
