Gary Lineker ( Full name: Gary Winston Lineker OBE) is an English former professional footballer. He currently serves as a sports broadcaster. Gary is regarded as one of the greatest English strikers. His media career started with the BBC, where he has served as the presenter of the flagship football program Match of the Day since the late 1990s.

He is the longest tenure of any MOTD presenter.  Also, Gary is the BBC’s lead presenter for live football matches, including its coverage of international tournaments. Previously, he worked for Al Jazeera Sports, NBC Sports Network, Eredivisie Live, and BT Sport’s coverage of the UEFA Champions League.
