For 20 good years, Ed served as a sports broadcaster at CBS Radio from 1987 to 2007. He has also been a sports broadcaster for WFAN for the last 35 years since 1987 when he launched his career as Steve Somers’ overnight update person on WFAN. The journalist co-hosted WFAN’s midday show ( nicknamed Coleman and the Soul Man) with Dave Sims in the early 1990s.
