Doug Walker ( Full name: Douglas Darien Walker ) is an American actor, comedian, film critic, and YouTuber born in Italy. He is currently based in the city of Chicago. Doug became known for playing his created fictional character as a vulgar and childish nerd who reviews media content considered to be nostalgic or relevant to western pop culture, his character is called Nostalgia Critic.
Originally, he posted his media reviews independently with the help of his brother, Robert “Rob” Walker. Rob often appears in Nostalgia Critic skits as the fictional character “Chart Guy” playing the role of a myopic, satirical but well-meaning corporate analyst wearing a power suit and “Santa Christ” (an amalgamation of Santa Claus and Jesus Christ). Rob appears alongside comedian Malcolm Ray as “Chart Guy 2”).
Doug and his brother dealt with allegations of copyright infringement after featuring clips out of different films and television shows. Later, he and Rob got the Nostalgia Critic skits amalgamated into the content creation company Channel Awesome. Features of longer media clips were replaced in favor of acted-out skits and also cutaway gags. Doug continues to appear at conventions and community events to meet fans. He has largely reduced his physical presence in public spaces since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sketch was about a production company that aims to recreate old and new movies in order to gain Hollywood’s attention.
