Don Geronimo ( Real name Michael L. Sorce) is an American radio personality. He hosted a morning show on Big 100 until July 27, 2023. Don was fired by the station on July 30, 2023, for making sexist comments about Sharla McBride, a WUSA9 sports reporter. The show aired from Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on BIG 100. On Monday, June 21, 2010, Don became the midday host of 1140 The Fan 1140 KHTK (AM), Sacramento effective on the mentioned date.
The four-hour program was scheduled from noon to 4 pm local time, Monday to Friday. Don announced on January 27, that he would be a regular on the TV show called Good Day Sacramento. His first appearance was on February 14, 2011. He announced on May 9, 2011, that his contract with CBS was extended until 2014, and was subsequently named Program Director for 1140 The Fan KHTK.
As of July 11, 2011, his show moved to the morning drive, 5:30–10 am local time following the departure of “Rise Guys” for a gig in San Francisco. He subsequently ended his in-studio presence on Good Day Sacramento. Currently, Don occasionally contributes to GDS remotely via camera. In 2010, Don injured his head in a fall from the stage at his live show at CAL EXPO in SACRAMENTO. The journalist slipped and fell off the stage near the end of the show where he sustained a laceration on his head. He was formerly featured on the nationally syndicated radio talk show called Don and Mike Show. Don started his journalism career in radio at the age of 13 after joining a Rockville, Maryland AM station called WINX ( currently a Spanish-language music station called WLXE). From there, Don continued working at various local stations. Since he was fired at each station for lacking the required FCC broadcaster’s license, he decided to forge one. He landed a job at WLS-FM in Chicago, Illinois in the early 1980s ( his then-dream job) before moving to WBBM-FM (B96) to do the evening show.

His first retirement was from The Don & Mike Show in 2008, during which the journalsit spoke out about his frustration with the direction that the radio had taken after high-profile decency events including the Janet Jackson Super Bowl incident. Two months after his retirement, Don announced that he would return to the air on a small, independently owned radio station called WOCMin Ocean City, Maryland.
