Derrick Shore is an American three-time Emmy-winning reporter, producer, and recipient of three LA Press Club Awards. Currently, he hosts the LIVE, one-hour daytime talk/lifestyle show “Houston Life” on weekdays on KPRC, Houston’s NBC affiliate. 

Before, he reported for KCET’s news magazine “SoCal Connected” in Los Angeles. Since Derick’s first reporting job in 1998 Derrick has appeared on CBS News, NBC’s “Today,” ABC’s “World News Now,” Channel One News, Current TV, and many scripted TV dramas and feature films.

Bush, Academy Awards, Super Bowl, urbanization in Brazil, endangered species in Africa, 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, 10th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the State of the Union address, Hurricanes Frances and Floyd, and a once-in-a-lifetime trip to see the wreckage of the Titanic.
