Dan Wells ( Full name: Daniel Andrew Wells ) is an American horror and science fiction author. Currently, he serves as the co-writer of The Apocalypse Guard with Brandon Sanderson. Dan published his first novel titled I Am Not a Serial Killer which was adapted into a movie in 2016. He spent most of his childhood in Salt Lake City, Utah, and started writing at a very young age.
