Dain Blanton is an American beach volleyball player. In the 2000 Olympic Games, he received the gold medal in Beach Volleyball with partner Eric Fonoimoana. Together with partner Jeff Nygaard, Dain returned to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, and became the first two-time U.S. male Beach Volleyball Olympian.
He is in his third season from 2021 to 2022 as head coach of the USC beach volleyball program. In the summer of 2021, Dain served as a sideline reporter for NBC’s coverage of the beach volleyball events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
