Coy Michael Wire is an American anchor, correspondent, and retired football player in the National Football League. He joined CNN as a sports anchor and correspondent in 2015. He was also a linebacker as well as a safety who played college football for Stanford. From 2002 to 2007, Coy played for the Buffalo Bills. From 2008 to 2010, he played for the Atlanta Falcons.
