Colin Murray is a Northern Irish radio and television presenter. He became the host of BBC Television’s Match of the Day 2 on BBC Two in 2010. At the same time, Colin was still anchoring shows on BBC Radio 5 Live, including 5 Live Sport and Fighting Talk. He also presented on BBC Radio Ulster. Previously, Colin hosted regular Channel 5 television and BBC Radio 1 shows.
He was named ‘Music Broadcaster of the Year in 2017 at the Sony Radio Academy Awards. The Dundonald, east of Belfast native first trained and worked as a news journalist. Due to his passion for both music and sport, he moved into music journalism and publishing. In 1999, Colin made his national radio debut on Radio 1 for a short spell co-hosting The Session music show.
