Cheryl Miller ( Full Name: Cheryl D. Miller) is a popular American former basketball player who was named women’s basketball coach at California State Los Angeles by athletic director Mike Garrett in 2016. She was formerly a sideline reporter for NBA games on TNT Sports and also worked for NBA TV as a reporter and analyst, having served previously as a sportscaster for ABC Sports, TBS Sports, and ESPN.
Cheryl was also head coach and general manager of the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury. In 1995, Cheryl was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1999, Cheryl was inducted into the inaugural class of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. On August 20, 2010, Cheryl was also inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame for her success in international play.
She worked as a Basketball Commentator at the 1994 Goodwill Games. Cheryl worked as a basketball reporter and called weightlifting for the 2001 Goodwill Games.
