Charlie Davies (Full Name: Charles Desmond Davies) is a popular American retired professional soccer player who played as a forward. As of now, Charlie works as a soccer analyst at CBS Sports and MLS. He is also a New England Revolution color analyst. He completed his college career with twenty-four goals and ten assists in thirty-seven games, such as fifteen goals in sixteen games his last season.

Charlie was involved on October 13, 2009, in a serious car accident on the George Washington Parkway that killed a fellow passenger and left him with severe injuries that kept him out of the 2010 World Cup and effectively completed his international career. He became airlifted to the Washington Hospital Center Medstar to undergo many hours of surgery to repair a lacerated bladder, fractures to the tibia and femur in his right leg, facial fractures, as well as a fracture in his left elbow.
