Lara Moritz is an American journalist and anchor. She currently anchors 4 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm KMBC 9 News in Kansas City. Lara has received two Edward R. Murrow awards and two Emmys for her reporting. She has completed two half-marathons, three full marathons, and one triathlon. Lara takes boxing classes a couple of times a week and loves lifting weights, running, and walking. 

Haley Hernandez is an American journalist currently working as a health reporter at KPRC3 in Houston, TX. She is the only health correspondent in the city of Houston coving one of the country’s largest medical communities.

Nick Bender is an American meteorologist. He currently serves as the weekend evening meteorologist at KWTV News 9 based in Oklahoma City. Nick holds multiple National Academy Regional Emmy Awards of Television Arts and Sciences. Prior to that, Nick worked at KWTV based in Oklahoma City, OK. Before that, he also served at KOTV based  in Tulsa, OK prior to joining  KVII  based in Amarillo, TX. During his time there, Nick  covered mile-wide tornadoes, ruinous fierce blazes , noteworthy snow squalls, deadening residue storms, immersing floods as well as harming seismic tremors.

Tom Abrahams is a renowned American-Emmy-award-winning television journalist and member of International Thriller Writers. Tom currently works at ABC13 in Houston, Texas where he serves as a news anchor. He joined the news channel in October 1999 and has worked there for 21 years. Prior to joining ABC13, Tom has for WABC-TV, an ABC television network, in New York City where he was a news anchor. Tom has also worked at WTVD, an ABC owned-and-operated television station in Durham, North Carolina where he served as a news reporter. Additionally, he was a news reporter at KPXJ, a CW-affiliated television station in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he worked for a year. He started his career at The Facts and The Henderson News newspapers where he served as a columnist and editor

Len Jennings is an American journalist and sports anchor. He currently works as a sports anchor/reporter at KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Missouri. Len commenced his television career in 1992 as a sports anchor and reporter in Burlington, VT at WCAX-TV.  He became sports director at WFTX-TV in Fort Myers in 1997. In 2001, Len made the switch to the news at a station across town, WZVN-TV & WBBH-TV. 

Kris Ketz is an American anchor and reporter. He currently serves as a News anchor and reporter at KMBC 9 ( ABC affiliate).  Kris always finds himself in the right place at the right time when it comes to big stories. He came to KMBC-TV on July 4, 1983. For more than 13 years Kris co-anchored the weekday editions at KMBC 9 News at 5 before he was named as the co-anchor of KMBC 9 First News in October 2007. Kris is as well an Emmy-award-winning anchor as well as an investigative reporter. He captured a Midwest Emmy for the best anchor in 2008.

Kelly Eckerman is a well-known American-award-winning Journalist, currently working at KMBC-TV, an ABC-affiliated television station in Kansas City, Missouri. She has served as a News anchor and reporter for more than two decades. Recently she celebrated 28 years in the news business. Kelly joined the news channel in 1990. She airs KMBC 10 pm to 11 Pm news every weekday night.

Kris Gutierrez, is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist currently working at NBC affiliate KPRC-TV in Houston as a news anchor and also a reporter. He rejoined the station in March 2020. He joined Dominique Sachse, Chief Meteorologist Frank Billingsley and Sports Director Randy McIlvoy to anchor the station’s 6PM and 10PM newscasts. Kris also anchors KPRC News at 5PM with co-anchor Lauren Freeman. Prior to joining KPRC he worked at NBC 5 in New York where he was an anchor. While there he anchored NBC 5 News at 5. 

Lisa Hernandez is an American journalist currently working at NBC affiliate KPRC-TV in Houston as a news anchor and also a reporter. She joined the NBC4 News Channel in June 2020. She airs KPRC 2 News Today every weekday from 4:30 AM to 7 AM and is joined by her co-anchor Owen Conflenti and Britta Merwin, Amy Davis, Haley Hernandez, and Anavid Reyes and they getting Houstonians ready for the day. Prior to joining NBC affiliate KPRC-TV in Houston as a news anchor, Lisa worked at KHOU the CBS affiliated television station in Houston, Texas as an anchor.

Jacob Rascon is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist currently working at NBC affiliate KPRC-TV in Houston as a news anchor and also a reporter. He anchors the KPRC 2 News Today. Jacob joined the news channel in October 2017. Before joining KPRC television station in Houston, he worked at NBC News in Dallas, Texas where he served as a news correspondent.
