Kwame Anthony Appiah ( Full Name: Kwame Akroma-Ampim Kusi Anthony Appiah) is a prominent British American philosopher, cultural theorist, and novelist. At this present moment, he works at the NYU Department of Philosophy and NYU’s School of Law where he holds an appointment. Furthermore, he has written about African intellectual history, the philosophy of language and mind, ethics, and political philosophy. Previously, Kwame served at Princeton University as the Laurance S. Rockefeller University Professor of Philosophy prior to moving to New York University (NYU) in 2014. He was chosen to lead the American Academy of Arts and Letters in January 2022.
