Carl Deffenbaugh is an American anchor and reporter. He currently serves as the anchor at Fox6now and Fox6wakeup, Milwaukee’s No. 1-morning newscast. Carl relocated to Milwaukee in 2016 and joined FOX6 as the Roving Reporter for WakeUp. Carl has covered the Packers as well as the Brewers in the playoffs.
He also performed on stage with Milwaukee’s wonderful arts organizations, made a fool of himself on live TV, and flew with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds What Carl loves the most is sharing powerful, compelling stories with his audience. Along the way, he has won multiple Emmy Awards for his feature reporting. Carl won an Emmy for a series on what life is like, and another one for Wisconsin sailors aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
