He is best known for his starring roles in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift as D.K (Drift King) and in the NBC medical drama Chicago Med and its spin-offs as Dr. Ethan Choi. Brian has also appeared in so many films and television series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Jurassic World, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and The Wolverine.
Immediately after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in theater and performing arts, Brian was rejected by a Korean director at an audition for having a Japanese last name and he decided to adopt his “culturally ambiguous” stage name i.e Brian Tee
