Brenda served as an anchor of the PIX11 News weeknights at 6:30 with Kaity Tong. She joined the station in 2016 as its anchor. At first, Brenda co-anchored in New York at WWOR-TV with Rolland Smith and then worked with Sean Mooney, later on, worked with Ernie Anastos and finally with Harry Martin. Before she went to New York City, Brenda worked in Nashville, Tennessee, and Columbus, Georgia as the first black anchor.
