Bob Woodward (full name Robert Upshur Woodward) is an American investigative journalist currently working for The Washington Post as a reporter. He joined The Washington newspaper in 1971 as a reporter and currently holds the title of associate editor. While working as a reporter for The Washington Post, he teamed up with Carl Bernstein, and the two investigated and reported on the Watergate scandal.
In August 1970, Bob discharged as a lieutenant at the U.S. Navy and was admitted to Harvard Law School. However, he elected not to attend, and instead, he applied for a job as a reporter for The Washington Post.
